Ikogosi Warm Springs in Ekiti State is a rare natural phenomenon where a warm spring and a cold spring meet and flow side by side without mixing. The warm spring maintains a temperature of about 70 degrees Celsius at its source while the cold spring is at approximately 37 degrees Celsius. According to Yoruba oral tradition, the springs represent two rival wives of a great hunter. The site is of significant geological and cultural interest and was designated a national monument.
