About
Yankari Game Reserve in Bauchi State is Nigeria's premier wildlife park, covering over 2,200 square kilometers of savanna woodland. It is home to one of the last viable populations of West African elephants, as well as lions, hippos, and numerous bird species. The reserve also contains warm springs (Wikki Warm Spring) and important archaeological sites.
