Owu Waterfalls in Kwara State, near the town of Owu-Isin, is one of the highest waterfalls in West Africa, plunging approximately 120 meters into a large natural pool surrounded by dense forest. The waterfall is located within the Owu Falls Forest Reserve and is a significant geological and ecological feature on the western edge of the Jos Plateau escarpment. Local Yoruba communities consider the falls a sacred site associated with fertility and spiritual renewal.
