Olumo Rock

About

Olumo Rock is a massive granite outcrop in Abeokuta, Ogun State, that served as a natural fortress during the 19th-century Yoruba wars. The Egba people sheltered beneath and within the rock during conflicts, and its name means "God molded this." The rock contains caves with historical artifacts and offers panoramic views of Abeokuta.
