About

The ancient town of Nri in Anambra State is considered the spiritual center of Igbo cosmology. Chi represents the personal spirit or divine essence that each person carries from Chukwu (the supreme deity). The Eze Nri (priest-king) traditionally mediated between the physical and spiritual worlds, and Nri remains important for understanding Igbo concepts of destiny, reincarnation, and personal divinity.
